Tarja Leskinen Art

I am Tarja, an oil painter from Helsinki, Finland.
To counterbalance the everyday job we each need something, and for me it is oil painting. Sheshed, which I share with two like-minded aficionados, adds a sense of detachment and is a sure way to recover from a hard day’s work. Timelessness, the cooperation of the hand, eyes and mind, pampers the body holistically, even in difficult times.
I have become acquainted with oil painting by taking courses, and in small group lessons. As a bonus, I have also been able to participate in joint exhibitions. I feel that with pursuing my art I can also perform better at work than I would without it.
